Hello there! I’m the T behind ‘Down To a T’ and I am so excited to be joining the Cardiff Indie Collective as a new startup.
I’ve set up ‘Down To a T’ to encourage people to try out the world of refills – it really is a much kinder way to shop. I customise refillable jars and bottles, and offer reusable wipes and plantable greetings cards. The product range is entirely reusable.
I hope if people see things can look nice and be personalised to their individual style then they might feel greater confidence to try out refills and change their shopping habits.
I aim to provide friendly, accessible steps to reduce waste. Sometimes the idea of ‘zero waste’ can cause overwhelm and put people off trying. Our products offer simple alternatives that allow people to give it a go.
I supply local businesses, including refill shops and eco-friendly hair salons. I also sell directly to customers via our website. I’ve recently joined forces with @createsalon_ who offer salon refills – they’re a great team trying to do good things for the world. I’ve also been helped along the way by the wonderful Binki of @littlegreenstores – her refill business is a breath of fresh air and she offers the best customer service full of smiles! Cardiff has a brilliant network of independent businesses full of super people. I’m a tiny newbie and proud to be getting involved.
I’m building values into this business from the outset and kindness is one of them.
I donate 10% of all profit to the Choose Love charity who show kindess to others.
