I make silver, copper and enamel jewellery and small scale copperware items. My big passion is using reclaimed and recycled materials, wherever I can. Most recently, the microbrewery next door to my studio gave me a lot of copper pipe which they had taken out of the brewery and I’m in the process of cutting it up and turning it into ornaments, bangles and earrings. I also run jewellery making and metal working workshops in my studio on Western Avenue. I enjoy seeing the range of designs attendees come up with and the feedback I receive is always lovely!
You are welcome to visit my studio by appointment, or you can buy my work online or at selected markets
Yes, I love showing people round my studio but I'm not there at the same times or even on the same days every week, so it's always best to check with me first, so that you don't have a wasted journey!
Yes, i do! A selection of my work is available on Folksy: https://folksy.com/shops/LesleyJaneJewellery I don't put everything on there, because photographing and describing my work would become a full time job, so if you have seen something I've made in the past and are wondering if it's still available, message me.
They are hand made by me from sterling silver
I hear this so often! You haven't got big hands, it's just easier for manufacturers of mass produced jewellery to make them all the same size. One of the great things about hand made jewellery is that I can make it in a range of sizes and if I don't have a bangle that fits you in stock, I can probably make one - just ask!
At the moment, the best places to look are my Facebook page or eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/lesley-jane-jewellery-20212460699
Absolutely! I love creating tailored workshops and some of my workshops are portable, so I can bring them to your venue. Message me to discuss
I depends on the child, but I have done workshops for teenagers and for families with children in the past - get in touch and we'll have a chat about it!
